We had Carol train us for this salsa dancing class and she was simply amazing. She made sure the class was fun and that everyone at different levels left having learnt something. The class consists of a good 40 minutes of practicing the basic steps followed by dancing with partners. Would highly recommend this activity. PS: account for traffic and parking time during weekdays.
– Vivek A., TripAdvisorMy wife really wanted to take a salsa class so when I found this it seemed perfect. The instructor was accommodating and ended up doing a class with just the two of us. I am so happy this worked out because we had a blast. The instructor was patient and fun. The setting was an outdoor gazebo and the music was great! Afterwards we walked down a nearby street and found everything a tourist would want. The centralized location is great!
– TheAcostaLife, TripAdvisorThe El Yunque Rainforest Adventure is everything you want from an excursion: knowledgeable, experienced, kind, authentic and enthusiastic guide and a memorable day taking in the incredible features of PR and the rainforest. Getting to select fresh local fruit then having it cut and presented next to a waterfall was icing on the cake. Loved every second.
– Dana P., TripAdvisorOur Salsa dancing lesson was held in a small park within a residency area. Me and my boyfriend had no dancing experience at all and I was a bit shy at first but Cindy is a great trainer who gradually got me engaged into the lesson and forgot the surroundings. We were able to manage a few basic steps by the end of this lesson. I would definitely recommend this experience.
– maggie_yyu, TripAdvisorMy partner and I ended up getting a private tour, and I would definitely say it's worth the extra money. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and fun, and it was the highlight of our vacation. The waterfalls are breathtaking. The rope swing is fun. The waterslide is better. The cliff jump is crazy but fun. Do yourself a favor, and go!
– Sean B., TripAdvisorAcross Caribe is a fantastic organization and is really good at booking last minute sessions. Our Afro Caribbean percussion workshop lesson was full of great energy, good vibes, and lots of a exciting information about bomba music and where it originated! Awesome awesome awesome! Will be back for another tour soon!
– Krystal P., TripAdvisorMy friends and I had an incredible time hiking through the rainforest and swimming to the waterfall. There was cliff jumping and rope swinging from the rocks too. Our awesome guide, Manuel, prepared delicious fresh fruit and then after leaving the rainforest, we stopped by for some yummy local eats! I HIGHLY recommend this tour and Across Caribe!!
– Kristin A., TripAdvisorFantastic off the beaten path hike with Across Caribe through rainforest to a secluded waterfall, and dip to the refreshing water. No other tourists but our little 6 person group. If you're looking to escape the tourist masses and enjoy a moderate hike, this is it!
