A sunset to remember

When you dream of vacationing in the Caribbean the first image that comes to mind is probably laying back and enjoying a turquoise beach, with white sand and a cocktail in hand. Imagine being able to enjoy that image repeatedly throughout the course of your trip on an island in the Caribbean Sea on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. Well, this is just the case in Puerto Rico, where you can enjoy this amazing scenery at any time of the year. Nothing beats the advantages of having summer all year round and being surrounded by some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

From East to West and from North to South, the Puerto Rican ocean harbors the top attractions on the island, offering up all kinds of maritime activities, such as snorkeling, diving, surfing, windsurfing, paddle boarding and much more.

The northwest coast of Puerto Rico is the favorite coast for adventurers and for those looking to enjoy a little bit of everything. This coast forms the Natural Reserve of Las Cabezas de San Juan, which includes a wide range of pristine beaches, mangroves, lagoons and jungles filled with mesmerizing biodiversity. The natural reserve’s protection of these ecosystems allows us to enjoy flora and fauna in their natural state.

For sailing enthusiasts, it also offers the possibility to explore the coast “island hopping” style, jumping from one small uninhabited island to another, all of them full of beautiful reefs and sandy shores that will make you want to swim around all day. One of the best ways to explore this coastal paradise is by sailing it and enjoying the fluidity of a sea full of abundant marine life. A favorite local tour is the “Sunset Sail & Snorkel Adventure”. In this private tour, you can navigate with ease having the assurance of a professional captain on his beautiful Beneteau 38.5, on a journey through Palominos Island, Icacos Island or the one with better wind conditions present for your visit. One of the best parts of the tour is to snorkel and if you are lucky enough to swim with the turtles, manta rays, starfish, dolphins and the Caribbean fish that overlook it all around the stunning coral formations. Or you can also choose to just lay back, relax and enjoy the sun. I recommend that last option to be done at the end because it’s the best part of the tour: the spectacular sunset.

Greet these sunset views with an applause after a day full of pure happiness in paradise and if you’re lucky enough you can even check out some of the dolphins who love this time of day to pop their heads out of the water and say hello while swimming alongside the sailboat.

So if you’re looking for a tour in which you can fully enjoy the treasures of the sea without worrying a single second about how to get around and what to do to achieve this, let us take care of you and let yourself enjoy the wonders this island and its infinite possibilities has to offer.

A day and a sunset that you will never forget.
